Trevor Stebbins has a fuller understanding
Posted by admin
The most serious question in the months after the financial crisis of 2008 was, “who knew, how did it happen, and who could have stopped it?”. Virtually no one can claim that they have the answers to that question—but it certainly would not have hurt to have more people working in the finance industry who knew its ins-and-outs. Indeed, it might have helped to have consulted these people in the weeks, months, or years before the crash to see what they thought about the finance industry.
Of course, there are not many people who know much about the state of the financial industry, because few Americans even want to understand it. Most of us, myself included, only pay attention when things are going badly. When things are going great, we pretend it is the work of finance-fairies. Let me assure you, it is not the work of any sort of magical finance creature, it is the work of experienced individuals. These individuals must work to gain a more complete understanding of the finance industry, which is not always as simple as it might seem. There are many elements to be considered in the financial industry and many sub-industries that are contained within.
Luckily, Trevor Stebbins has a fuller understanding of the financial industry than most because of his considerable experience in, and knowledge of, the industry.
